Project Title
“Beyond Lincoln” Documentary Mini-series Trailer for Outdoor Brand.
Objective
I created a social media campaign that showcased select outdoor brand customers' history and stories with the outdoors. I was asked to subtly place Outdoor Brands gear, but in a non-distractive way. This campaign was meant to deeply connect with their target audience.
Synoposis
I was heavily motivated by outdoor documentaries. I wanted to capture the style and mood of a full-length documentary but turn it into a series made for vertical platforms. I was greatly inspired by “Free Solo by E. Chai Vasarhelyi and Jimmy Chin. I particularly appreciate their raw visuals and ability to capture emotion.
Process
I created an intimate script of a young man traveling back to his roots after the passing of his grandfather. He was introducing his new wife to the area of Lincoln National Forrest that holds a strong place in his heart.
Results
This effort won a vote from my peers as a viable and creative project, which was chosen to move forward as quality marketing material for Outdoor Brand. See It Here.
